Last Updated: August 2, 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the website, online learning platform, programs, assessments, certificates, student services, and related services provided by Northbridge Institute of Caregiving.

In these Terms, “Northbridge,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to:

Legal entity: Atlantic Global Network LLC
Registered address: 1209 Mountain Road Place NE, Suite R
Albuquerque, NM 87110
United States

“You,” “student,” “learner,” or “user” refers to any person who visits our website, applies for admission, enrolls in a program, accesses our learning materials, participates in an assessment, or uses another Northbridge service.

By submitting an application, making a payment, creating or accessing an account, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not enroll in or use Northbridge services.

1. About Northbridge

Northbridge Institute of Caregiving is an American online caregiving training institution serving learners internationally.

Northbridge provides career-focused educational programs covering foundational caregiving, patient support, elderly care, dementia support, personal care, infection prevention, mobility assistance, patient observation, and related subjects.

Northbridge is not an employment agency, immigration adviser, healthcare employer, licensing authority, university, or government regulatory body unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Eligibility

To enroll in a Northbridge program, applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete application information
  • Possess the English-language ability needed to understand the program
  • Have access to a suitable phone, tablet, or computer
  • Have reliable internet access
  • Be capable of completing lessons, examinations, and assessments
  • Agree to follow Northbridge academic and conduct policies
  • Be willing to complete practical assessments online or in person when required

Northbridge may request reasonable evidence of identity, age, payment, or eligibility before confirming enrollment or issuing a credential.

Submitting an application does not guarantee admission.

3. Applications and Enrollment

Applicants must provide information that is accurate, current, and complete.

Northbridge may reject, delay, suspend, or cancel an application or enrollment where:

  • Required information is incomplete
  • Information appears false, misleading, or inconsistent
  • Payment has not been completed
  • Identity cannot reasonably be verified
  • The applicant does not satisfy published requirements
  • Fraud, impersonation, misuse, or academic dishonesty is suspected
  • Enrollment would violate applicable law or institutional policy

Enrollment becomes effective only after Northbridge confirms acceptance and course access.

4. Program Delivery

Northbridge programs may be delivered through:

  • Recorded video lessons
  • Written learning materials
  • Practical demonstrations
  • Quizzes and knowledge checks
  • Multiple-choice examinations
  • Assignments
  • Live online sessions
  • Recorded practical presentations
  • In-person practical assessments where arrangements are available
  • Other educational activities identified in the relevant curriculum

Programs may be self-paced or subject to completion deadlines stated at enrollment.

Students are responsible for having appropriate internet access, equipment, software, and a suitable learning environment.

5. Program Information

Northbridge aims to describe its programs accurately. However, course schedules, lesson sequencing, instructors, assessment methods, learning platforms, materials, and administrative procedures may be updated when reasonably necessary.

Northbridge may make changes to:

  • Curriculum organization
  • Lesson titles or sequencing
  • Assessment instructions
  • Learning materials
  • Platform features
  • Administrative procedures
  • Certificate design
  • Student-support processes

Changes will not intentionally remove the essential educational content of a program already purchased without an appropriate reason.

Where required by law, learners will receive notice of material changes and any remedies to which they are legally entitled.

6. Tuition and Fees

The price displayed during enrollment is the price applicable to that transaction unless an obvious error has occurred.

As of August 2026, the promotional fee for the Patient Care Assistant Certification Program is:

US$79, reduced from the regular price of US$259.

Fees for other programs and services may vary.

Optional or additional charges may apply to services such as:

  • Transcript of Records
  • Replacement certificates
  • Courier or postal delivery
  • Additional assessment attempts
  • Printed materials
  • Authentication or verification services
  • In-person assessment arrangements
  • Customized institutional services

An optional Transcript of Records is currently available for US$50, unless a different fee is displayed when ordered.

All applicable charges should be disclosed before payment.

7. Payments

Payments must be made through a payment method accepted by Northbridge.

You authorize Northbridge and its payment providers to process the amount displayed during checkout.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate billing information
  • Paying any bank or currency-conversion charges imposed by your provider
  • Ensuring that the payment method is authorized
  • Retaining transaction records
  • Contacting Northbridge promptly if a payment appears incorrect

Northbridge may withhold course access, assessment results, certificates, transcripts, or other services until required payments have been received and cleared.

Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes may result in account suspension while the matter is investigated. This does not restrict any legitimate right to dispute an incorrect or unauthorized transaction.

8. Promotional Prices

Promotional prices may:

  • Be available for a limited period
  • Apply only to selected programs
  • Be restricted to new enrollments
  • Be changed or withdrawn before purchase
  • Be subject to stated eligibility conditions

A learner who enrolls at one price is not automatically entitled to a later promotional price.

Similarly, a promotional price does not create a right to receive the same price for another enrollment, service, transcript, assessment, or future program.

9. Refunds and Cancellation

Refund eligibility is governed by:

  • The Northbridge Refund Policy displayed at enrollment
  • The date course access was provided
  • The extent to which services have already been used
  • Whether assessments, certificates, or transcripts have been completed or issued
  • Applicable consumer-protection law

Nothing in these Terms removes a cancellation, withdrawal, refund, price-reduction, or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Where a learner has a statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase, Northbridge may request express consent to provide immediate access before the withdrawal period expires. The effect of beginning digital delivery on cancellation rights will be explained during checkout where required.

Refund requests must be sent to:

info@northbridgeinstituteofcaregiving.com

The request should include:

  • Student’s full name
  • Registered email address
  • Program name
  • Payment date
  • Transaction reference
  • Reason for the request

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible, unless another method is agreed or required.

10. Course Access

Course access is personal to the enrolled student and may not be:

  • Shared with another person
  • Resold
  • Transferred without written approval
  • Used for group instruction without authorization
  • Accessed using another student’s account
  • Used to copy or distribute Northbridge materials

Northbridge may establish a reasonable access period for each program. The applicable access period should be communicated during enrollment or through the student platform.

Students should complete and download any permitted personal records before their access period expires.

11. Student Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity conducted through your account.

You must:

  • Use your own account
  • Keep passwords secure
  • Avoid sharing login information
  • Notify Northbridge of suspected unauthorized access
  • Keep contact information current
  • Log out from shared devices

Northbridge may require a password reset, identity check, or temporary account restriction where a security concern exists.

12. Assessments

Northbridge assessments may include a combination of:

  • Multiple-choice examinations
  • Written assignments
  • Knowledge checks
  • Live virtual assessments
  • Recorded video presentations
  • Skill-based demonstrations
  • In-person assessments where available

Assessment methods may vary by program, location, assessor availability, and the competency being evaluated.

Students must follow all assessment instructions and safety requirements.

13. Practical Assessments

Practical skills may be assessed through:

  • A scheduled live online demonstration
  • A recorded video presentation
  • An approved in-person assessment
  • Another method authorized by Northbridge

Depending on the task, the student may be asked to use:

  • A suitable training mannequin or dummy
  • A consenting adult volunteer
  • Approved caregiving equipment
  • Safe household substitutes specifically allowed in the instructions
  • A simulated care environment

Students must not perform invasive, dangerous, restricted, or medically inappropriate procedures on themselves or another person.

A volunteer participating in an assessment must:

  • Be informed about the activity
  • Participate voluntarily
  • Be treated respectfully
  • Be protected from avoidable risk
  • Not be presented as an actual patient requiring medical treatment

Northbridge may reject a submission that is unsafe, incomplete, unclear, falsified, or inconsistent with the assessment instructions.

14. Assessment Recordings

When a practical assessment is recorded, the student grants Northbridge permission to review and retain the recording for:

  • Assessment and grading
  • Identity verification
  • Academic-integrity review
  • Moderation
  • Appeals
  • Quality assurance
  • Complaint resolution
  • Institutional record keeping

Assessment recordings will not be publicly used for advertising or promotional purposes without separate authorization.

Students are responsible for obtaining appropriate permission from any volunteer shown or heard in a submission.

15. Academic Integrity

Students must complete their own work honestly.

Academic misconduct includes:

  • Impersonation
  • Having another person complete an assessment
  • Submitting copied or purchased work
  • Falsifying practical demonstrations
  • Editing recordings to misrepresent performance
  • Sharing examination questions or answers
  • Using unauthorized assistance
  • Altering academic records
  • Submitting false identity or eligibility documents
  • Attempting to obtain a certificate without completing requirements

Northbridge may investigate suspected misconduct and may:

  • Require reassessment
  • Give a failing result
  • Reject a submission
  • Suspend course access
  • Cancel enrollment
  • Revoke a certificate or transcript
  • Refuse future enrollment
  • Notify an organization that sponsored the learner, where appropriate and lawful

The response will depend on the seriousness of the conduct and available evidence.

16. Assessment Results and Reassessment

Students must successfully complete all required academic and practical assessments before receiving a completion credential.

A learner who does not meet the required standard may be:

  • Given feedback
  • Asked to review specified material
  • Permitted or required to repeat an assessment
  • Charged a reassessment fee where disclosed in advance
  • Required to complete additional evidence of competency

The number of permitted attempts and applicable conditions may be defined in the program’s assessment policy.

Northbridge may require reassessment where identity, safety, originality, or competency cannot be verified.

17. Certificates and Transcripts

A Northbridge Professional Certificate is issued only after the learner has:

  • Completed the required course content
  • Passed required assessments
  • Satisfied payment obligations
  • Complied with academic-integrity requirements
  • Provided any required identity information

Certificates and transcripts confirm successful completion of Northbridge training. They do not by themselves:

  • Guarantee employment
  • Guarantee a particular salary
  • Provide immigration status or work authorization
  • Constitute a government licence
  • Constitute professional registration
  • Replace a regulated national qualification
  • Guarantee acceptance by every employer, school, country, licensing body, or government agency

Employers and authorities determine their own qualification and hiring requirements.

Students are responsible for verifying requirements in the country, state, province, occupation, or workplace where they intend to use the credential.

18. Credential Verification

Northbridge may verify limited credential information in response to a legitimate inquiry.

Verification may include:

  • Student name
  • Program completed
  • Completion date
  • Certificate issue date
  • Credential number
  • Current credential status

Northbridge may refuse verification where a request appears fraudulent, abusive, unverifiable, or inconsistent with privacy obligations.

A credential may be marked invalid, withdrawn, or revoked if it was issued because of fraud, impersonation, falsified evidence, administrative error, or serious academic misconduct.

19. No Employment Guarantee

Northbridge does not guarantee:

  • Employment
  • Job placement
  • Employer sponsorship
  • Visa approval
  • Immigration approval
  • Work authorization
  • Professional licensing
  • A specific salary or hourly rate
  • Acceptance of a certificate
  • Eligibility for a regulated occupation

Career information, job descriptions, salary examples, and labour-market information are provided for general educational and promotional purposes.

Actual opportunities depend on factors including location, experience, language ability, legal work status, employer standards, local qualifications, background checks, and applicable law.

20. Scope of Training

Northbridge programs provide educational training and do not authorize a learner to perform duties prohibited by law, workplace policy, professional regulation, or the learner’s assigned role.

Students and graduates must:

  • Work within their training and authorization
  • Follow employer instructions and care plans
  • Seek supervision when required
  • Avoid diagnosing medical conditions
  • Avoid prescribing or changing medication
  • Avoid restricted medical procedures
  • Follow applicable health and safety rules
  • Contact emergency services or qualified professionals when appropriate

Completion of a Northbridge program does not independently expand a person’s lawful scope of practice.

21. Health and Safety

Students must use reasonable care during demonstrations, assessments, and practical activities.

You must stop an activity where:

  • A participant experiences pain or distress
  • Equipment appears unsafe
  • The environment creates a fall or injury risk
  • Instructions are unclear
  • The activity exceeds your training
  • The procedure requires professional supervision not currently available

Northbridge is not responsible for injuries caused by deliberately ignoring assessment instructions, using unsafe equipment, performing prohibited procedures, or misrepresenting a simulation as supervised clinical practice, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

22. No Medical Advice

Northbridge educational materials are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency assistance, or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Users should not delay or disregard professional medical assistance because of information contained in a Northbridge program.

In an emergency, contact the relevant emergency service immediately.

23. Acceptable Use

You may not use Northbridge services to:

  • Violate applicable law
  • Harm, exploit, threaten, or harass another person
  • Upload malicious software
  • Interfere with the platform or its security
  • Access accounts or systems without authorization
  • Scrape, copy, or systematically download course content
  • Sell or redistribute learning materials
  • Misrepresent your relationship with Northbridge
  • Make unauthorized promises on behalf of Northbridge
  • Issue unofficial Northbridge credentials
  • Engage in fraud, impersonation, or academic misconduct
  • Upload unlawful, discriminatory, abusive, or infringing content

Northbridge may remove content or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect learners, staff, systems, intellectual property, or legal compliance.

24. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Northbridge owns or licenses the rights to its:

  • Course materials
  • Videos
  • Scripts
  • Demonstrations
  • Graphics
  • Assessments
  • Examination questions
  • Website content
  • Logos and branding
  • Certificates and transcript designs
  • Learning-platform materials

Enrollment provides a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access materials for individual study during the permitted access period.

You may not reproduce, publish, sell, translate, modify, distribute, record, upload, broadcast, or commercially use Northbridge materials without written authorization.

25. Student-Submitted Content

You retain ownership of original content you create and submit, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.

By submitting content for coursework or assessment, you grant Northbridge a limited permission to store, copy, review, process, and display it internally as reasonably necessary to:

  • Deliver the program
  • Assess performance
  • Check academic integrity
  • Conduct moderation
  • Handle appeals or complaints
  • Maintain academic records
  • Improve quality and administration

This permission does not authorize public promotional use of a student’s name, image, testimonial, or assessment recording without separate consent.

26. Third-Party Services

Northbridge may use third-party services for:

  • Payments
  • Website hosting
  • Learning management
  • Video conferencing
  • Email
  • Analytics
  • Cloud storage
  • Credential delivery
  • Student support

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Northbridge is not responsible for independent third-party services outside its reasonable control, although this does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.

27. Service Availability

Northbridge aims to maintain reliable access but cannot guarantee that every service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Access may be temporarily affected by:

  • Maintenance
  • Technical failures
  • Internet outages
  • Cybersecurity incidents
  • Third-party service disruption
  • Legal or regulatory requirements
  • Events beyond reasonable control

Where reasonably possible, Northbridge will seek to restore affected services and provide appropriate information.

28. Suspension and Termination

Northbridge may suspend or terminate access where there is a reasonable basis to believe that a user has:

  • Violated these Terms
  • Failed to make required payment
  • Shared an account
  • Engaged in fraud or impersonation
  • Committed academic misconduct
  • Threatened staff or other learners
  • Misused intellectual property
  • Created a safety or cybersecurity risk
  • Used the service unlawfully

Where appropriate, Northbridge may provide notice and an opportunity to respond before a final decision.

Immediate restriction may be applied when necessary to protect safety, academic integrity, data, systems, or other users.

Termination does not automatically create a right to a refund. Refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances, the Refund Policy, and applicable law.

29. Student Withdrawal

A student may request withdrawal by contacting:

info@northbridgeinstituteofcaregiving.com

Withdrawal may result in:

  • Loss of course access
  • Closure of pending assessments
  • Ineligibility for a completion certificate
  • Retention of academic and payment records
  • Application of the published Refund Policy

Where legally required, students will retain any mandatory consumer rights.

30. Complaints and Appeals

Students may submit a complaint or appeal regarding:

  • Enrollment decisions
  • Assessment outcomes
  • Academic-integrity findings
  • Staff conduct
  • Access problems
  • Certificate errors
  • Payment or refund issues

The request should include:

  • Student name
  • Registered email address
  • Program
  • Relevant dates
  • Description of the concern
  • Supporting evidence
  • Requested resolution

Northbridge may establish reasonable deadlines for academic appeals and may reject repetitive, abusive, or unsupported submissions.

31. Disclaimers

Northbridge seeks to provide accurate, useful, and professionally presented training.

However, to the extent permitted by law:

  • Educational information is provided for training purposes
  • Individual results will vary
  • Course completion does not guarantee employment or licensing
  • Northbridge does not guarantee uninterrupted platform access
  • Northbridge does not guarantee acceptance of credentials by every third party
  • Learners remain responsible for complying with local laws and employer requirements

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

32. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Northbridge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use of the services, including loss of employment opportunity, income, data, business, or anticipated benefit.

Where liability may legally be limited, Northbridge’s total liability arising from a particular paid program will not exceed the amount the learner paid for that program.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct, or other legally protected claims.

33. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses resulting from your:

  • Unlawful use of Northbridge services
  • Unauthorized distribution of course materials
  • Fraud or impersonation
  • Violation of another person’s rights
  • Unsafe assessment conduct
  • Material breach of these Terms

This provision does not make a consumer responsible for losses caused by Northbridge’s own unlawful conduct.

34. Privacy

Personal information is handled according to the Northbridge Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains:

  • Information collected
  • Purposes of processing
  • Assessment recordings
  • Service providers
  • International data transfers
  • Data retention
  • Privacy rights
  • Contact procedures

35. Communications

You agree that Northbridge may send administrative communications concerning:

  • Applications
  • Enrollment
  • Payments
  • Course access
  • Assessments
  • Academic results
  • Certificates
  • Policy changes
  • Account security
  • Complaints or support requests

Marketing messages may be sent where permitted. You may unsubscribe from promotional email, but you may continue receiving essential administrative communications.

36. Changes to These Terms

Northbridge may update these Terms to reflect changes in:

  • Programs
  • Technology
  • Payment arrangements
  • Institutional policies
  • Legal requirements
  • Safety or academic-integrity standards

The updated Terms will display a revised effective date.

Material changes affecting existing students will be communicated where reasonably required.

Changes will not remove mandatory legal rights.

37. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of:

New Mexico, USA

However, this governing-law provision does not remove any mandatory consumer protection available to a learner under the law of the country where the learner legally resides.

38. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you are encouraged to contact Northbridge so the issue can be reviewed and an appropriate resolution attempted.

Send written concerns to:

info@northbridgeinstituteofcaregiving.com

Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from contacting an applicable consumer-protection authority, data-protection authority, alternative dispute-resolution service, regulator, or court where that right exists.

39. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally permitted.

The invalid provision will be interpreted or limited only as much as necessary to make it enforceable where possible.

40. No Waiver

A delay or failure by Northbridge to enforce a provision does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.

41. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, applicable program information, assessment policies, and other policies presented during enrollment, form the agreement between Northbridge and the learner concerning the services.

If a specific written agreement signed by Northbridge conflicts with these general Terms, the signed agreement will control for the subject it specifically addresses.
